Status of Work Items for Area III's 2010 Management and Scoring Web Site.

The status of the work items is indicated by it's text size and color:
Operational, Started, Pending Feature, Pending Improvements.
  1. The new Area III site is linked to LMSRF site
    • Racers can view the schedule.
    • Completed features are available for use.( see below )
    • 2000-2008 history has been saved and moved to the new site.
  2. Schedule Entry.
  3. Entry Registration - boat owners/captains will be able to:
  4. Create process to distribute racing fees, minus fees, after each event.
  5. Club Registration - Yacht Clubs will be able to:
  6. Race Entry information for the race committees.
    • Current list of entries for Events will always be available on the web site.
    • It can be printed sorted in multiple ways to meet the needs of the race committees, racers, etc.
  7. Race Results Entry.
  8. Auto scoring of the races and seriesa
  9. Interactive display of results by race, by event, by section, and/or by boat.
    • Once the data is saved, the results will be viewable to all.
    • A viewer can select which results to display by Event(s), Series, Section(s), and or boat(s).
  10. An admin system for maintaining UserID/Password task permissions will be provided.
    • A system administrator(s) would have the ability to add, delete, and edit User IDs and their task permissions.
  11. Scoring of CYA’s Boat of the year series will be included.
  12. Online filing and tracking of protests will be included.
  13. Ability of Area III committee volunteers to maintain documents like Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions.
  14. Ability of each club to edit their special sailing instructions, SSIs, will be included.
  15. A limited Phone Answering service will be provided.
  16. An ability for Area III’s committee members to broadcast email to all boat owners will be provided.
  17. An ability to send Surveys to all boat owners and collect results will be provided.
